Official Desktop Launch — June 15, 2026
Major ReleaseFirst public version of StarkStack Desktop. What previously appeared as roadmap or internal sprint history is now consolidated as the 1.0.0 launch scope.
- Local-first desktop app for macOS, Windows, and Linux, with work history, data, and credentials under the user's control.
- Workspace RAG decoupled from Obsidian: users can choose any folder, project, or note base; Obsidian is available as a plugin integration.
- Model orchestration, specialized agents, and external agents in one cockpit, with monitored workflows and visible history.
- Multi-Artifact Canvas to generate, organize, and review multiple artifacts in chat, including interactive interfaces and screen variants.
- Stark Studio for visual auditing of changes, decisions, deliverables, and agent execution timelines.
- Stark Eval with automated quality, safety, and consistency validations before accepting critical deliverables.
- Risk Gates and external approvals through connected channels, without limiting confirmation to a single channel such as WhatsApp.
- Persistent Work Items and Kanban to turn conversations into traceable tasks with context, owners, and per-execution cost.
- Productivity, data, finance, and corporate channel integrations with secure consent and governance for sensitive actions.
- Offline/private mode, active budgets, and background automations for more continuity, predictability, and control.
